Why Should I Give?
Each year, thousands of alumni and friends of the College of Agricultural, Human, and Natural Resource Sciences enhance the teaching, research, and outreach programs of the College through charitable gifts. Through their generous gifts, individuals and organizations provide scholarships and fellowships, state-of-the-art equipment for teaching and research, funding for student clubs, and a variety of other important programs.
Donations to the College are charitable gifts, fully tax-deductible to the extent permitted by law. Your unrestricted gifts allow the College to respond to its most important opportunities and challenges, or you may designate your donation for a specific department or program.
You may designate your contributions for immediate use or create or increase endowments that provide permanent sources of support. Gifts may be made by cash or assets such as negotiable securities or property.
All gifts of $100 or more are recognized in the Honor Roll of Donors published annually in Connections, the College alumni and friends newsletter. The College's most generous donors are recognized as Benefactors, for cumulative gifts of $100,000 or more, and Laureates, for cumulative gifts of $1,000,000 or more.
